‘Mama Africa’ Opens Heart to Malta’s Migrants.

For 10 years Antoinette Zammit, a 56-year old Maltese woman, has worked as a volunteer supporting Maltas immigrants with their basic needs. She provides them with clothes, pots, cutlery, and pillows, all donated by the Maltese people. For many of the immigrants on the island, Antoinette is the only family they have in Malta.
